He is the Head of Ophthalmology at Complejo Hospitalario Universitario Insular Materno Infantil and Founder & Director of the Instituto Canario de Retina - ICARE. Dr. Cabrera is also an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
